Before I get to the announcement of the new officers I would like to thank everyone who ran. Your dedication and enthusiasm for the clan is much, much appreciated. Now without further ado, I would like to say Congratulations to all new and returning Clan Officers! AND.........(drum roll please) here is your CO's for the third session of 2008!

I would like to start out by encouraging all trP Members and Gamers alike to utilize the new design and features of our Website. We would like to thank all those who contributed in the project and assure you that the intentions of this website is to make more efficient the ways of accessing and using trP Clan features. Whats New:
*Servers Listing: Servers are now listed with up to date information compliments of Gametracker.
*Ventrilo Connect Button: You will notice on the top right a button that will connect you directly to our Ventrilo, making it easier for gamers.
*mIRC Icon: This directly connects you with the #trP-clan Channel.

On October 26th 2007, The Rushing Party celebrated its one year anniversary. It goes without saying that trP has gotten to this point with the help, dedication and sweat of many present and past members of our clan. The Rushing Party was given its name by Clan Leader Yoda in the fall of 2006 by the rabid style of play that he, DrunkMuppet, Jack Bauer, Ninja, and Haze made a habit of terrorizing gamers on the Pantless Servers. After, a few days of negotiations trP merged with what was Yihya, Nasrallah, Kimble, Sykes, and Vincent's Clan {CVS} to form what was perhaps the ugliest tag in CS:Source Clan History. Example: [trP] Yoda {CVS}. After being constantly questioned on why we advertised for a drug store chain, we wised up and rid ourselves of the {CVS} tag.

Soon thereafter, trP took off and went from 10 strong in early November to 20 in early December. At that point in time we got our first server; a meager 12 slot scrim server that we quickly turned into a gaming Pub. We soon realized, aside from the fact that half our members were being kicked for reserved slots for other members, that we need a better and bigger solution. So over the year as our Servers increased our numbers have as well topping off at one point or another at 8 Servers and over 60 Members. It is hard to calculate, however trP has had well over 100 Members in its short 1 year history and we want them all to know, past and current, that we appreciated their many contributions to this great gaming society. That being said we would be hard pressed not to have recognized the major contributions put in by DrunkMuppet who has single handedly played the most vital role in making trP what it is today.

It has been a year and though we have had great times in these last 360 some odd days, we have a lot to look forward to as well. The establishment of Clan Elections and Clan Officer positions speaks mounds for the quality and democratic nature that we base this fine Clan from. And speaking of democracy, it too goes without forgetting our Clan Members who serve us in the Armed Forces. We truly appreciate their contributions to our clan and our Country. Though, it is also hard to say that trP is based of of one country, when in fact we are as diverse a clan as any. trP has Members from over 6 countries, 15 different cultures and religions. Though we make it a priority to avoid the plight of politics and national ethnocentrism to infiltrate the minds of our Members, we also recognize the one underlying fact of our Membership. That we come into this clan with a human respect and appreciation for your fellow members and friends. This is why we support our Members in most every cause they embark upon.

Before you fall asleep on us, we would like to extend a warm greeting to the many close clans we have become allies with. We certainly are a no nonsense group of guys, but we have a heavy conscience and care dearly for other clans especially those who have helped us along our way. Finally, to ALL trP Members; thank you for your time spent with us, for your financial and social contributions. For those Members who have left us, we say you are always welcome back. And to those who have stuck with us through thick and thin we say keep rushing short A jump off the bridge and get cheap spawn kills!

Ok, so as you might have noticed the site has changed. This in my oppinion is a major improvement. I would appreciate feedback as it can help make the site better. Please save your cosmetic suggestions untill we get all the functioning needs out of the way. I know theres some things missing like the photo thing, but thats all going to come in due time. This site is more secure and looks a lot better. I hope you like it... The forums have rolled back to yesterday. So if you notice some posts missing that is why. Sorry, I couldn't help it. However thats only minor. If all goes according to plan we should have some more additions in the next week. Thanks for sticking with us through everything!

Now on to the new features. On the left you will notice some new buttons such as Sentinel. This protects us against hacking attempts. If you try to log in and incorrectly input your password you might get banned. So remember your password.

Another new feature is the Membership Application button. This allows for prospective users to apply easier. The Recruit Task Force officers should already have access to this. I will make a post on how the system works!
